we have 2 bull moose draws in 3-46 (wells grey park) for all of oct been up there the last 3 weekends and no luck, Found a little sign but they dont seem to be in the rut for some strange reason.Any ideas on a location or tactic would be apreciated.:shock:

We did manage to pull out a med 4 point muley last weekend.

spanish lk. , crooked lk. , up by the old mine at hendrix are all good spots, if you havnt already tried them. all accessed via 100 mile and forest grove rd.

My experience with that area is there up really high, no snow no moose.

from what i have heard like rock said up high and need horses to get in to them...

Many swamps deep in valleys with no access... horses.

thats the draw that if you don't have alot of snow, you'd better have horses.

well i did pull one out of rays farm about 5 years ago last moose draw i had there in sept. just luck i guess.
thanks for the help i guess we will keep trying

Nice looking buck ... congrats ... tough break on the moose.
