I can't wait for the ice to leave to do some fly fishing.
So here's a question....

What's everyones favorite fly to start off with ?

Dry fly --- Tom Thumb
Wet fly ---Doc Spratley

Bottom Walker (dragonfly nymph tied with deer hair)

x2 for Doc Spratley in river's and lakes on the Island. Size 8-6 for trout. Tied sparsely on a larger hook it's one of my go to summer steelhead patterns.
