I've heard through the grapevine that quite a few winter springs are being caught up there and Courtenay area.

The fishing over at the light and on the shelter point side have both been good if you don't mind fishing in the fog. I can usually see the light from my living room window, but for the last four days I haven't been able to see the other side of the street.

I too heard that there was decent fishing in the Kitty Coleman area and the hump also. **cough cough purple haze cough cough**

ive been told by a buddy of mine they have had great fishing straight out in front of rona in willow point. anchovy no flasher 200 feet of water 150 on the downrigger. good luck

Fishings hot right now, buddy was out yesterday and nailed a 16lb, 8lb and missed 3 (rookie ;))

I was out prawning yesterday and got a limit of nice sized ones and trolled off of Shelter Pt while the traps were soaking. Marked a lot of fish but no takers.
