finally my time has come to get out there. headin up to the tumbler ridge area thursday for spike fork and mature bulls and 6 pt elk. any suggestions on the best way to hunt these critters this late in the month. i've only ever hunted them late sept/early oct.
seems all the moose are in between what's legal that i ever find but what the heck im just glad to be getting out again.

focus on feeding areas at dawn and dusk

not sure how much rain Tumbler Ridge has been getting, but around here it's WET, so watching watering holes ain't too productive.
