Can you post some pictures of the meat pies???

Certainly:

Not at all hard to make, and a very fulfilling meal...

Venison, lentil and barley stew with cast iron cornbread.

Oh Man does that picture of the corn bread ever bring back fond memories!
Can damn near smell it!! ;-)

Yesterday was a nice stir fry with the leftover from the Muscovy Roaster. Excellent as always.

Tonight... Ain't certain yet but those quick & easy meat pies are quite likely...

Tomorrow off on another Island Sheep Hunt, so most likely some of that on the BarBee...

Cheers,
Nog

Hmmmm, pulled goose? Maybe venison burgers, or maybe an "Italian" style bear pot roast decisions, decisions.

Thinking of making some Venison burgers on the BBQ - ground venison mixed with black bear fat. Should be good. mmmmm

Re-fried beans, rice, and venison over the fire on the cast iron skillet tonight at bear camp. Just about to head out!

Muskox was really awesome. It was an older bull, so a bit chewy, but tasted great. What a treat
