We are in Chilliwack. We got our girl out of Hupper Kennels in Ontario. He runs field trial competitions and trains dogs on his 80+ acres and also breeds occasionally. Eventually, we will breed our girl to get a pup from her for ourselves but only if I have homed at least 3 pups before the breeding. She is an amazing family pet and is bird CRAZY.

Are all those Brittany's yours? They are gorgeous :) Another member on this site just picked up a Brittany pup. Was it from you?

Do you do any field trials with your dog? We just started getting into it. I am working on gun fire, and getting the one dog not to blink. LOL.
We have a few brittany's on Vancouver Island we got together to let all the dogs play the two to the left are my dogs. I am sure finding alot more brittanys in BC, then when I started looking 3 years ago for them. Its nice to see the breed expanding.

We joined the Vancouver Island Pointing dog club, last year. It is so much fun, there are actually quite a few brittany's involved in the club. They do an activity every month somewhere on the island. Its awesome to be around ppl that have done the hunting and pointing stuff before. As I am quite a newbie. http://www.vancouverislandpointingdogclub.com/

No field trials :( Hubby and her are learning together.) There isn't much out here for that. There is the lab/retriever trials that are done out at my friend's mom's place along the river but haven't found anything else.

Hubby just takes her out to the local fields and lakes and she retrieves dummies and responds to the whistle really well. She comes hunting with us/him but I'm not sure if he has had her out grouse hunting yet.

We got her about two years ago. She was six months old when we got her so she came started by Winston of Hupper Kennels. I think birding comes naturally to her though. Its just the "listening" part that she needs work on lol!

I always loved Spaniels. Best bush grouse dog imo. These Brittanys are sure a handsome looking animal - love the blonde noses. Once got a Springer from a guy nearTrail - should have guessed, it was inbred, lots of health probs and none too smart either. People should be held accountable for dung like that.
