Both are great vids. As for the first one I have to be honest and say that I do not know if I could hold of the trigger as long as he did. Good for him as he did EVERYTHING by the book. But I suppose at the end of the day it is your life and you should go by your own damn book!

You know I hate to 2nd guess that situation but since I saw it last year I have always wondered why the guy with the shotgun did not fire one over her head just a little one side or the other might have stopped/turned her.
Charley jumped up right in front of the dudes loaded rifle as well! Damn scary deal all round for sure.

I've thought that a "warning" round may have made a difference, but that's easy to say sitting here.

The second clip had me waiting for the bear to get up right at the last minute!!!

Warning shots when an attack is virtually certain may cost you your life.....guns do jam, shells missfire, etc. :wink:

If you get a kill shot in that situation...better take it.
