Is there anywhere someone could bag a deer around the Chilliwack area?
Not looking for a monster just a buck to bag for freezer meat.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the site, anywhere up the Chilliwack river area and or the Skagit. It's hard country to hunt as it's thick and steep but there are animals to be had.

I once saw my biggest Blacktail in a slash just before the entrance to Skagit park, Of course it was June and he was in velvet but he was a wall mount in the making.

Where on Vedder mountain? I grew up in Yarrow and rarely saw deer up there.

I'm one of them, the fact that I can find them in May keeps me looking in October. If it were easy I don't think many of use would keep hunting???

Head to the upper areas of Chilliwack Mtn.
Worked up there and theres bucks galore!
Take the road to the south and go past the newer subdivision. Good luck.
