Yup- I agree, I know dogs are supposed to chase cats, but if I were a dog-there's no way i'd be chasing that thing! Maybe-if i had doggy kevlar.

I know my buddy didn't want these pics all over the internet, but...much like the monster elk this fall, its hard to keep pics out of the public domain (FWIW, I never sent them anywhere!).

Anyhoo, the girl is from Fernie. She's just 14...and that is a very big kitty. For perspective, the guy holding the cat up in the top pic is a big dude. Its got a big head and will score very well.

180 - 200 lbs. for the biggest toms. I have an old huntin' buddy that has been on over 125 kills and he said their biggest was 198 lbs, and it was a monster (with a couple of raccoons in its belly!).

AH, the Valley Boys strike again eh 4ster....:smile:

Was out today shovelin snow off the cabin roofs and on the way out, there was 3 different sets of cat tracks on our skidoo tracks....first time in all the winters I have been up there that I have seen cat tracks that high up. Of course the dogs where at home and I gotta work tomorrow:-(
