Took a couple days off the Elk prusuit to chase the White Buffalo.

First time for the son in law on any Big Game kill, So it was a special event for us. One day searching & glassing & the next day climb all morning, Look over a couple basins until we found the right candidate, & it was all over but the hard work by 11:a.m.

Congrats 7 mag on a good looking goat. Winter coat is coming in. Nice end to a deserving hunt. I also find that scenery odd for goat habitat. Looks almost like you got him in the timber.

To be honest "Freshtracks" this type of terrain is where we find most Goat in our little corner. They tend to like the rocky ridges with scattered dead standing or fire kill, Dont be decieved we are at about 7500ft elev.
