Hound pup did great.

Yesterday I took my 7 month old pup out for a cougar hunt. I could not have been more happy. He stayed right with the older dogs, treed hard and pulled hair after the kill. This is one of the pups from the cross I made with my black and tan and half border collie quarter lab and quarter german shepard. The pups are so easy to handle, no leashes are needed. NOw I have to take his sister out and give her a try.

You hound guys are something. I watched a video of a houndman following his dogs, in the snow, hot on a cat. The guy runs like crazy for miles, trees the cat, ties the dogs off and lets the cat go. He then laughs, sits on a log and has a SMOKE.

I haven't smoked in twenty-five years and I do quit a bit of mountain hunting, but I couldn't keep up to that guy for a mile.

I'd love a chance at a cat, but you'd have to find one that treed quick.

Nice thing would be for me as a bow-hunter, the shot would be close.

Man, you're having so much fun , while all the rest of us are still just dreaming about next year.

Nice to see pictures of Marty's brother. I wish I could get out and get him doing that. Marty is too busy lovin all his girlfiends in the city. Thanks again he is an awesome dog. He always gets alot of compliments on his looks.
