Interesting read. Seems to make sense.

It might be nice if they did a real comprehensive study on predation, or over predation, by Wolves and Cougars.

That's interesting and good to know. I'm wondering what the loss of large tracts of forest to that beetle in central B.C. will do for the wildlife populations also. No doubt time will heal the damage, but meanwhile?
