I finally got my Caribou! It took a few years, but when I saw this one it was it. We went up north for 10 days, spotted quite a few caribou but they were all too small. 4 days into the hunt it started snowing and the animals started to move and I connected.

That is a nice bull ! What region ? I missed my first big(not huge) Caribou bull ! It scored 375 4\8 or so my partner said .It took me another couple years to get one on an LEH .It was a double shovel with small tops and bez .It is tough to find one that has it all and that one comes close.

congrats Mik what a beautiful animal... that right there is my dream hunt, there is just something about a caribou that has made me want to hunt one for a looong time... congrats again

THAT is a nice 'bou, congrats !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bou never interested me up until a couple years ago, but they've really grown on me, same with goats.
I'd love to get a bou like that, time to start researching.

The pic is from the right side of the animal, and it looks like a double shovel, but however, it is not. I took the animal because of the "gnarly" tines, great top and good mass. Heres a view from the other side;
