I was over at an "old timers" house recently, he had some nice sheep mounts. None had the "plug" in the back of them..

When did they start doing that?

I'm thinking mid to late 70's, inspections started in 74, or 75.

Sometimes we just need to stop and think before we post.

"Sheep" and "plugging" should not be used in the same post. :p

Of course the topic didn't get hijacked!
A sensible question is asked and a bunch of nit-wits come out of the closet in a vain attempt at being funny.

Actually , it was a few mutual FREINDS that woke this Sat morn with some freindly rib jabbin...unfortunately some freindless 'nitwits' woke a little grumpy:lol:

Yeah, it's all in good fun :)

Nobody has definitively answered the question, though!:)

Oh, I think there's at least a couple of people on the forum that know. Give them time to respond.....in the meanwhile.................

Wow, you reallyyyyyyyyyyyy.................just don't get it, do ya?

lol

We do this all the time.

I was trying to find out for Gatehouse, and found that gang ranch thread, with the info about the owner. (Saudi, in case you didn't know).
http://www.cowboyshowcase.com/gangranch.htm

Couldn't find anything definitive from the ministry, or elsewhere, or I woulda posted it.

I notice you didn't answer anything either....., just started calling names.
Nitwit indeed...well, I NEVER!

And how did you know we came out of the closet, if you weren't in there with us?

Huh?

Now THAT'S a good question!

Lighten up, you'll last longer. Merry Darwin-Mas

That's along time back to remember but I took that big heavy broomed book Ram in 1975 and I think that was the year. I know he was inspected and plugged. I have every copy ever issued of the FNAWS magazine, when I have more time I will look back.
