Misterious Tracks in my backyard

Alright so I went out in my backyard to see if I could find some coyote tracks or something, and I found these tracks, they were very close to the house so I don't think it was a coyote, and they led straight into some blackberry bushes, so I don't think it was a dog. I'm thinking raccoon right now, but they're pretty big.

They're about 2" across each.


By the way, I live in Richmond so it can't be a deer or something like that.

I just went flipping through my book on animal tracks. Not sure where abouts ya live, but this *looks* like Snow Snake sign - They don't 'slither', they kinda hump and walk like a sidewinder... but different.

Bigbore had a good suggestion; if I could see the trail it left, I'd have a better idea.

Well the fresh snow covered 'em up now, so I can't take anymore pics, but oh well.. Since some people said it looks like a dog, I guess it was a coyote.. NEver knew they got that close to the house (this was like 10 yards away from the house)

or the samsquatch that everyone else suggested. or the unicorn.
