today was end of the season for me,
i slept in crazy late (230pm) and by the time i finally got to the woods, there were three BC Hydro trucks parked, just about to head up the FSR (doing maintanance i guess???) I took the oppisite fork that they took hoping to avoid them, and settled in just off the side of the road, watching the slash under the hightension power lines....

20 mins later i heard voices over by the power tower, then moments later i saw several reflective vests walking around about 300 yards away, at the base of the towers. hmmm thats going to scare the deer away i thought...
then less than 5 mins later a couple came walking down the fire road, dragging a christmas tree. they were down wind from me and with my two touques on i couldnt really hear what they were saying. ....mumble mumble christmas tree mumble....

as they came within 30 yards they spotted a really good one 20 yards to my right.
well i guess cutting down christmas trees is great forplay for a BJ.... next thing i know she's talking about sucking on his christmas tree, and kneels down and i hear zip....

at that point,i very noisly get up, clear my throat and walk right past them. "nice christmas tree" i say as i pass them.

obviously they had NO idea i was only a few feet away as this whole thing was going on... kinda ruined the whole last hour of legal hunting light, but i still thought it was hilarious.

I bet its the last time that guy gets any "attention" in the woods anymore

Good thing that you never fired off a shot, she might have got lockjaw.

I think its better HE didnt 'fire off a shot' :)

Perhaps the poor guy was pretending to be Santa...a full sack and comes once a year :)
