Well i have been listening to everyone saying frozen feilds means there will be no birds flying to them...

Well i have had great sucess with shooting them. I put out 1 or 2 spinners... and we have walked away with intetween 2-8 birds for 30 mins of shooting. Last night the birds came in to about 20 feet away. some even landed. there is 3 of of us usually shooting there too.

I use one call right now and that is a 6-1 whistle. The drakes call and the widgion peep is all I use and the birds love it. Last night they flew right into us and we downed 6 brids for about 30 mins of shooting. One dove into the reeds and we couldn't find it, other wise the frozen feilds have been very good for me.

dutchie.

PS we have been shooting the feilds pretty much every night every for the last 3 weeks and there are still loads of birds that come every night.

birds do not care if it is frozen or not , as long as there is something to eat. Is it somewhere close to white rock ? do you have any geese over there ?
