Well I went out for the last day of deer season here in Reg. 3. Saw 6 mulie does but no bucks. Well its tag soup this winter :-(.

Well on my way back to the minivan this evening I came accross a dog bouncing up the FSR I was walking down. I stopped and pulled out the binos. Yup, definately a coyote. Well I waited about 10 minutes to make sure it wasn't someone walking their dog up the road... no people walked up so i chambered a round into the 303 and put 180 grains into his lungs from about 80 yards.

Well it wasn't a deer, but at least I managed to get something this fall! haha.

Good job, huntin yotes is alot of fun, I was in region 3 not long ago and talked to an older lady, (I thought she was gonna give me $hit) for huntin near her property, but she ordered me to shoot any yotes I saw because they were killing all the pets in the area, I said OK, no shortage of yotes.

i skinned him out. not sure what im going to do with it. I intended to try some of rishu's recipes... but i just couldn't bring myself to eating it haha. I might still go cut off the backstraps. not much meat though. both shoulders and part of the neck was shot out. TONS of fat on him though. The fur is really thick. He was one healthy little dog. No plaque on the teeth or anything.
