As of yesterday afternoon the Rams that winter along Ord rd in Kamloops started arriving with 3 showing up.
Guys will remember from previous years that the rams basically hang out for a few months right above my house.I recognize two of them from last year, its good to see they have grown nicely.
I have included some pics form last year as comparison.Enjoy,RB
First pics shot off my deck with Leupold 20X50 golden ring spotter for a lense.

They decided to co-operate today and came down 400yds and started feeding right along the pavement.
This ram had a nice split on his nose last year.

I am far from seasoned in judging age or score, but I figure the bigger ram would go in the 177-180" class.
More pics will come RB.

very nice pictures. A few weeks ago me and my dad took a drive up to Red lake and then down to Savona and at the park boundary going up there was at least 80 rams and ewes playing along the rail road. No pictures sorry but about 1/3 were rams.

Didn't want to start it on a separate thread as I didn't have a chance to take pics but driving through Golden on Sunday I was fortunate enough to see some of their "locals". They were right on the highway holding up traffic by I think it was a Shell station above town.

Two nice rams on the road and one was a great looking, heavy brute not broomed off too much at all.

Camera was buried under a pile of gear in the back of the truck.:frown:

There's been some cranker rams in the Kicking Horse Canyon over the years, here's one of the better ones from s few years ago.

That's awesome to be able to watch from your deck... Is Ord Rd. right by the Kamloops Rugby field...? I remember seeing sheep there at different times at the base of the mountain on our way to the pitch.

No Carl thats the KIB herd on Mt Paul.
The Ord Rd rams are out by Kamloops airport and they migrate back to Kamloops lake country for most of the year. RB

Nice to see the Wildlife fence completed along the Kamloops Indiam Band and the Hwy. RB maybe we need a fence to save the Ord Rd. herd from you
