"If what you're doing isn't working try something else" is a good motto for hunting ducks (or anything else for that matter" -----well, OK sometimes perseverance pays off too)---good job KK, sounds and looks like you and your Missus had a great day---and well done Sitka too

I have the SX3, in synthetic composite, and have been loving it for 2 seasons now! :D Did you get the 28" bbl? And do I spy a Hi-Viz sight? How is that working out?

I have the 26" too, I find the shorter bbl helps in other situations, not the least of which is lugging it around for a long period of time in the field

Interesting.. I just might get one of those sights to try it out.. I'll probably go the ebay route :D

Great going there KK, I can vouch for the Winchester, have been shooting one for many years before I switched over to Mossberg. The high viz sights work really well. I use many years for all of my shotgun hunting. Jump shooting works very well on days when ducks don't want to fly.
