Left friday at 4:30am to head up to 3-30. Took a little longer than expected due to weather conditions but arrived there safely. Stayed at Whitemoose resort and i highly recommend it to anyone who needs to stay in that area. Hunted hard friday and saturday and only seen one mulie buck but could only count 3 pts(he was funning full blast). Either than that only seen 3 does and plenty of fresh tracks but our timing was off. It was pretty much foggy the whole weekend so you weren't able to see to far None the less it was a great trip and got to spend some time with my dad and brother.

filled up in boston bar

Very nice! We're heading up to Clinton this weekend to see what we can find.. Looks cold so that means more rum for the fireside!! LR

Yeah that fog is hard to deal with, oh well any time in the bush is time well spent.
You know the sign is there so definitely worth checking out again another time.

Wish we got those fuel prices on the Island, we always get gouged a little harder
Wouldnt mind 6" of that white stuff for this weekend either

Hey the big yellow drilling truck up mound ranch. I picked up my white tail buck a few miles from there. did you see the moose that has been hanging around that area?

yeah I got mine on the 12th in one of the big fields way before the yellow truck. not the bigone right before, but two fields before that one. It has a small fence around almost the whole thing keeping cattle out of the mud. the kicker was the next day I saw a 3X3 whitetail the next evening but none of the guys I was with had a tag. finally having a tag that you don't expect to use pays off.
