Sausage Maker

Can anyone recommend a good sausage maker in Kamloops or Merritt.

have you tried garys deli on the north shore????
makes good sausage but don't know if he will use your game

I use Kam Lake View Meats, out in Cherry Creek. They are a great shop, really good to deal with. It's too bad they don't cut game anymore. But as far as I know they do still make game sausages. I have had them make dinner sausage and smokies and they are both really good.

You could try buying small samples of beef sausage from some of the deli's in town in the style that you would get them to make with venison, and see if you like their recipes. I have tried samples from various places in town, and I found that in general they tend to be kinda boring and bland. The Kam Lake View stuff has a lot more flavour.

I might try making some of my own this winter.

There is a place in the North Shore I used to use all the time. Would only accept game 1-2 days of the week. Can't remember the name of the place but Gary's rings a bell.

try making your own, started last year with a little meat grinder I picked up from Princess auto and don't think I will have anyone else make my sausage again.
