Any one willing to help a new hunter with his 1st deer? Were looking to stay in town last few days of the season for 4 pt. mulie's. Never hunted Merritt area late. My buddy's son is looking to take his 1st buck and animal period. We missed out on our leh Nov. moose as no moose were seen over a 6 day period ..... it was brutal, warm, after rut, traffic, camps every where, new area to us, bla bla. Should have had the newbie out in general open season for bucks I guess, couldn't do it all. Can't travel to far so around Merritt would be best. Any suggestions on hotels, any help would be appreciated. PM me if you can.
