I've been doing some online (google) scouting for the area around Antler Lake and have found some interesting looking topo features. There seems to be a neat looking corridor/funnel that runs north south from Antler Lake down to Cougar Lake. There are also a few cutblocks on the west side of this valley that looks promising. I'm thinking it may give me a good opportunity at a Mulie in the last half of October.

Has anyone hunted in the area? I'll be up there just after Thanksgiving until the end of Oct. I'd also be open to other suggestions if you like to share them.

My hunt has now been postponed until the beginning of november.

Does anyone know of when the rut begins for this area? And do the Mulies and Whitetails rutting seasons coincide with one another?

hey atri i pm'ed u back...when u get up here the mulie rut should be goin good i dont think the white tails rut till a lil later though....
