On the way to Pink Mountain

Seen this nice muley buck on the way to pink mountain last week for our buffalo hunt. He was thrashing around in some bushes on the side of the road. Thought it made for a photo op........

You can with a bow it is only a no shooting zone not a no hunting zone. Next time I go up there the Bow is definatley getting put in the truck...All those big swamp donkies.

can`t you use a bow on that highway lol........ thats when a bow comes in handy

i saw this guy with 8 does right on the side of the highway as well. he had a nice little sticker

I went to pink mountain years ago for a different buffalo draw and mule deer were closed when we went up. So I automatically thought they were closed when we went up this time also. Never quite registered until we got home from the hunt that we were there on the 15 of Nov. this year and not Dec.1st as before. We had lots of time left, as we got our buffalo on the first day, so my uncle and I actually discussed stopping for a mulie hunt on our way home. I said , "Oh it's closed so lets just head home." He phoned me the other day to MAKE sure I knew how I screwed up.......LOL!:frown:

i would have wayner, but i was on my way to fort nelson for a crew change for work. im getting out of camp today or tomorrow with a few days to spare for hunting
