just got a call from my grandma and her and my grandpa just got a big mulie buck...they are on there way here to meet me so i can go help them retrieve it...they said they couldnt get it out so me and an uncle are going to go pull it out for them...will get pics while i m up there and post them when i get back...

well he wansnt as big as i was suspecting it to be but he is a nice buck non the less..he is a 5x4 not to sure onthe spread as my grandpa had wounded him with the first shot then finally caught up to him again later and the only shot he had when he caught up to him was in the back of the head and pretty much blew the skull apart...when i tied a rope to the one antler to pull him out it just about ripped out.....i will post the pics a lil later

his hat was camo thats how he did it....oh and he was road hunting he has had to knee replacement surguries so and my grandma just had a hip done this past summer so they dont go to far from the truck any more

3kills it sure is nice to see that a Senior got a nice deer for a change.

This deer your grampa got is a no slouch deer ,he has a great spread and long tangs as well.

First Great job Grandpa thats a hell of a buck.
Second I tagged out on three deer this year, one was 32" 4 point mulie the last was a respectable 5 point whitetail and I wore no camo for any of these bucks and was also well away from the truck.
My point is camo although helpful (I guess) is a bit of a money grab for the industry and somewhat of a fashion show for SOME hunters.
I too go full camo when using a bow as it helps to break up my outline.
Just my opinion.

A lot of old folks sit at home and look at big bucks on there computer, your Grand Parents go out and shoot big bucks! Congrats to both of them, and to you and your uncle for lending a hand! Bet your Grand Dad felt 18 again when he pulled that trigger!!!
