Sheep soup, 'bou soup(by choice), elk soup, whitetail soup (by choice) and unless I find a 4 or 5 point blacktail, I'll eat that one too lol (maybe dump a meat buck for my dogs)
Might eat a cat tag too if I dont tree a big tom this winter

BUT its still cheaper than smoking, crack or being a drunk and it keeps a guy outside in the mountains, healthy and in shape :)

Between The Wife(tm) and I both:

2 mulie tags, both filled
2 elk tags for soup
1 whitetail tag filled, and 1 pending

The 1 pending whitetail tag is mine, and I have a LEH for a flattop in the area I'm hunting. I've got 2 more mornings to go see if I can't find a buck bigger than a 2 year old, but either way - my odds are pretty good that it'll get filled.

Passed on a button buck (tiny spiker), a spork (a spike with one side split) and a nice (for eating) 3 year old black bear at 40 yards (don't ask).

So yes the soup runs thick with ink.

This puttin in the time thing just doesn't cut it anymore. I got out alot this year and helped with some successful hunters but nadda on the venison for me so far.............

Too early to say what I'll be eating.....although I know it's going to be more than a mouthful:rolleyes:.

I could say for sure that I'll be eating my sheep, goat and blackie tags.
Punched my elk tag.

Should have punched my whitey tag yesterday but the bloody bucks were worked into a frenzy chasing does and looking for the bucks that were fighting (up in a tree). None would hold still for me.

i cut a mulie and a bear tag this year, both firsts , the deer with my dad and brother , the bear with my bro and a good freind. good memories. i'll eat my moose tag and by the way the taste of late season tag says more about the handling of the paper than it does about the tag itself. properly dressed i have yet to have a bad tasting or tough tag.

Cut a mulie tag, WT, moose, and black bear will probably go uncut, unless I manage to bump into a WT (not likely!).

To put things in perspective, not getting skunked is a good season for me :D

Filled my licence book with tags and hoped that I'd get out to hunt them. Burns heal a lot slower than I thought.

La soup de jour is a tag medley: Sheep, Elk, Bbear, Muley x 2

Did manage to get out for muleys for a few days, and had a fantastic time, but didn't find one I liked enough to pull the trigger on. And still have a couple opportunities for whiteys...leh doe until Nov 30 and late bow season....so may put a little protien in the freezer yet.
