Sumas Mnt?

Hey guy's, was thinking of heading up Sumas to do some hunting and wondered if there is still a locked gate at the bottom? Its been a couple years since I was up there.

Yep still a gate.

But lots of animals up there. Bear, Deer, Bobcat, even reports of Cougars.

Nice thing about using a Bow is no one knows you get anything.

Be warned: there are a few residents [hippies] up there who smoke a pound of dope a day, still think the Vietnam war is going on, and beleive all critters are reincarnated humans. So if you get anything, make sure you cover it with a tarp.

the gate is unlocked... still the same as always.....

Thanks guy's, havent hunted up there in years, but have taken deer this time of year in the past and thought I might head up to the same old area and see if it still holds as many deer as it use to?
Jet boater, will I have to walk in from the gate at the bottom or is open any specific hours or?????
