:idea:Any idea on the age of a mature whitey or mulie four point? Also, what is the progression of points vs. the age of the animal?

A mule or WT deer can Carry 4 above at the age of 3 and may always be a 4 point the rest of it life.

What hunter1947 said. Antler points are not an indicator of age. On one of my websites I have a guideline (http://whitetaildeerpassion.blogspot.com/2006/07/field-aging-bucks.html) on how to determine the age of a whitetail deer.

The size and points of antlers are a matter of genetics. Some bucks can have "respectable" antlers at age 3 to 4 while others are small forkhorns for the rest of their lives.

Thanks to both for the info. Interesting to see the progression in the body of a white tail as it ages. Thanks again, question answered.
