Good place to take my 10 year old sun for a day hunt

Hello all, Just looking for a little input on where might be a good place to go for a day or over night hunt with my 10 year old son, we live in North Van. He has been with me hunting up in the Caribou but all he shot were some grouse. I am hoping to get him his 1st buck . Any input would be great.

From North Van I'd head to Squamish or even the Pemberton area.
Lots of areas to discover, but don't forget, your chasing Blacktails. Not exactly the easiest beast to pursue!
