Wicked buck Tooley! Gotta love the mass on that guy. Given the tree species and vegetation (looks like some white pine and falsebox) in the background, looks like you got him in the interior wetbelt area...where alot of big deer seem to consistently grow! Congrats again!

Sometimes deformation of an antler is connected to a leg injury, usually the opposite side,or a testicular deformation or injury.

Tooley,
Thanks for sharing with us the field pics. That is a Whopper of a buck. I'd take mass like that over tine length any day. That buck has some serious wall appeal. Congrats Big Time!!!

I saw Tooley the other day...he said he hasn't been on the site much lately so he might not answer you right away...when I see him again I'll tell him to get online and give the answer. He did get it scored, but I can't recall the numbers. All I know was that the net score was low because of deductions.

Hey guys, I did get him scored he ended up gross 185 net 160's. But I'm not real confident on the score. There is a whole lot of bone mass there that doesn't get considered in the boone and crockett system. B&C is very dependent on tine length and this is one thing that my buck is lacking. However, I'm not complaining, and would pull the trigger every time in seeing this deer. Thanks for the comments Merry christmas

ohno
12-08-2009, 12:50 PM
That is a trophy of a life time whatever B&C ranks it.

That there is my nasty deer dream buck. Perfect color, paddles, everything. He looks young(ish) which allows the mind to think what he would've been prime! (That isn't a judge mental statement, cause I'd've popped him too :))

congratulations!
