Has anyone been in 724 bear lake this fall

Im headed up there will be there on the afternoon of the sept 30. I have drawn out for moose, but was wondering about if it is worth getting a elk tag as i seen in the regs that it is 6points or better I know there is whitetail and mulie deer up there but not too sure bout the elk in the area ?

The elk are open on the west side of the highway in 7-24.

There is NO elk season open on the Bear Lake side in 7-16 (east of the highway).

They are few a far between in 7-24 but ya never know !!! Wouldn't feel too good seeing a 6 point bull and no tag would it.
