Anyone know where on the Island I can get some Instacure #1 / Prague Powder #1, or whatever name it goes by here. I want to do some pepperoni this weekend

Don't know about Duncan but I'd give Piper's Meats a call in Nanaimo. They're on Bowen road just south of the Northfield intersection.

Bang on, they have curing salt in small packages good enough to do 25 lbs each. I believe I paid about $3-$4 last month.

Ron I use Morton's tender quick or Morton's sugar cure and they also have a Morton's smoked sugar cure
I purchase it through our Co-op - I am not sure if you have a co-op on the island or not but I don't mind sending some your direction if you can't fine something :).
