Alright, here it goes;

Sunday morning rolls around, me and dad are up bright and early and ready to go out, we head to our location about 20 minutes from home. Still really dark, but we keep goin, never saw much action, TONS of sign though. We did come up on 4 (what we think) were does. Never had enough time to determine sex.
We started to head out since it was only a morning hunt. Monday night comes around we decide I'll take the day off school on tuesday and dad will take the day off work.

We head out bring and early again tuesday morning. We get out to the same place, still really dark. We stopped on the side of the road for about 30 minutes and let it lighten up. Drove into a cut as far as we could, got out and walked, saw lots of sign once again - no deer. We head back onto the powerline. Decide we will go back to where the does were on sunday. Nothing - we walk up into a cut and there is 3 does - any bucks? Yes! One buck runs off and a spiker stops and stares. I'm not one to shoot a spiker, so we keep on going and lookin for the other buck - no luck. We head back to the powerline and try another road, dad looks at me and says "see, the thing about this time of year is you can see a deer anytime of the day." Then we come around the corner and 4 point on the road!!! We jump up as it heads up into the cut.

I'm looking for it in my scope. First shot - BOOM - dropped in his tracks.
We walk upto him he's still alive so second shot into the head to put him outta his missery.

Awsome hunt. Had a great time!!!

Awsome buck! What do your classmates think of hunting?
Lol, well some of them enjoy it and do it themselves and others think its terrible and everyone that hunts should die lol. But hey, I just tell them not to judge and their cool about it.
