One of my favorite times of the year. The whole family takes time off from work and we head up to the cabin. The kids and I do a little hunting and fishing. The wife stays in the cabin and makes a turkey dinner. Man does that cabin smell good after being outside.

Card games and such. Read a book, eat left overs, sit around the fire and look at the lake and the leaves, then the stars.

Real nice time.

Turkey day is always the first weekend of a 2 week trip to Baldy-Hughs (Prince George) with my Dad and a bunch of other guys.

We did a turkey fried in oil a few years ago, and it's been a tradition ever since :) Gotta be the best way to cook a turkey I've tried!

The pic is my dad getting the bird into the pot.

Can't wait for this years feast - less than 2 weeks away
