I've got a bit of work to do in the area, anybody been in the hills east of Barriere in the last couple days? I know snow conditions change daily (hourly) this time of year but htought I;d ask

How far up? My parents live there and I can tell you pretty quickly what the situation is like.

I was up there recently and there was no snow, at one time there was 4 inches but the rain and temp turned it to nothing, be prepared for some serious mud, maybe by this weekend there will be snow.

I went thru yesterday ,no snow.Lots from Valemount to Jasper though.

Ahhhh, the ridge. Been there many times. My dad was working up there a few weeks ago. I will see what they say but I suspect you already have your answer from others here.
