Wolf & Grizz video

Don't know if anyone has seen this before. It's a trail cam of a Wolf
"playing " with a Grizz and her 2 cubs over an Elk carcass in Glacier Park. At times it's kinda funny.

I get a kick outta all the posters on youtube talking about the wolf "playing" with the bear like its some kind of Disney film...

Bears and Wolves are age old adversaries and when I watch the film I see a wolf trying to wound a cub. The wolf isn't really taking it too seriously cause he has a belly full of elk already....

Mother has done a good job teaching the young one to defend them selfs.

The Grizz could snap the Wolf's spine with one swipe of the paw.

It jsut appears that the Wolf only goes so far with momma Grizz around

Cool video. I would definitely call that playing. If the wolf was serious he had ample opportunity to hamstring both cubs. Also, he postures like he is playing, wagging tail etc.

that is awesome.. did you see how fast the wolf moves when the sow puts the chase on compared to the cubs... cubs could be supper, but momma was just out of his leauge.. still the video is awesome...thanks for posting it
