anyone been up to region 5 area the past few days? if so how is it lots of deer movement were some good roads to go on are never been there just lookin for a little info thanks

Just got a nice fork up there yesterday. Deer very scarce all week. Day before saw a major 4pt but was in a ranch field. But slow all week. Weather was quite mild for this time of the year. I think it's about to chime any time now. G

Saw 11 deer, 2 bucks included yesterday, one of my coworkers still has a tag, and an inability to pull the trigger :cry:. Once buck was just inside city limits, a huge 3X2. The other was decent, unknown point count for sure, as my coworker was being stupid and counting points and fiddling with his scope instead of shooting first and counting points later. I could see the rack from 150 yards away on the highway, so it was decent.

Today I saw 31 deer, no confirmed bucks, but I'm sure a couple had to be, but were too far away as I blew by on the highway.

This was mostly along Highway 20 from Williams Lake to Riske Creek. There does seem to be increasing amounts of deer activity. Too bad my mule deer tags are both cut already.
