Went out to our slough this morning,lots of rain and some sleet,and lot's of birds!We had our 16 Mallards by 9:00AM,13 of them drakes.Most of the drakes were big,orange legged,double curl birds,much larger than the local birds we have been shooting.Only 3 weeks til I go for surgery,if the slough doesn't freeze we should do well til' then!
