Went out early this morning and harvested my very first goose and some ducks/widgeon. I will credit this success to all the people who helped me out with a recent post about things to try out "THEY WORKED LOL".

Honker is mighty fine looking too, you mentioned Pintails and showed Widgeon???
Where you pass shooting or did youahve a set of decoys set out?

I remeber my first Canada Hunt very well and my Snow goose hunt in Sask. as well all very overwhelming at first.
Congrats, now go and get one of them big Pintails that are out flying around.

My bad correction made...:smile:, as for the goose he is a heavy broot was impressed my friend was choked because he was suppose to come out with me on this hunt and his wife held him back, lol his loss was my gain. I set out some decoys and called them in I also hid in the bush with full camo on till they came down for a landing.
