Didn't get a lot of the story but he said it was chasing a group of does and at first he said he was unsure if it was a 4 point! He was alone and drug it out by his self, and loaded it alone! When i hear more i'll post the rest of the story. These bucks are what keeps us from cutting our tags early in the season, mind you some of us still have a uncut tag at the end of the season!!!

Yes, it was taken in the Kamloops region, he was unsure how far up he could cut it for a mount, so he said better safe than sorry! Pretty sure he knows how to clean a deer, he's also got a White Tail a few years back most hunters only dream about!

But a gutted deer is always lights/easier to drag and load into a truck.....In the spur of the moment I'm sure he could have dragged a moose into his truck being that excited shooting a hog like that. Hell of a buck, I hope he put's that one up on the wall, a beauty!

Something in the feed up here in Kamloops this year maybe the rain but wow hunters are takin some brutes like this high strong rack, it's a wall hanger of a muley buck. Congratulations on a good hunt.

Just got off the phone with Jim, the lucky hunter, I'd heard during the photo session that he had to drag the buck back to the truck alone, not so, Jim said he managed to find a over grown trail and drove his truck quite close to it, with the help of a come a long he had his hog in the truck.If you look at some of the other photo's, the buck is field dressed, and it is getting a shoulder mount. Jim would like to thank every one for all there comments, he never knew such a web site existed! M.Dean
