Skimkin Lake

I was sure that Skimikin Lake (3-26) is a provincial park... but, I can't seem to find any info on a prov. park there... is it just forest rec? Tons of ducks and geese along the edges. I would love to put in the canoe if its legal... anyone know for sure?

Nope, ain't no park, but the Forest Service rec site is maintained by the horsey people and you know how they can be with shots going off. Did not find it in the Wildlife Act closed areas http://www.qp.gov.bc.ca/statreg/reg/W/Wildlife/Wildlife76_84/76_84sch03.htm
but a call to FrontCounter BC could confirm this/

It is a prov park no discharging of firearms jan--august . means you can hunt.
