Cowichan Bay

Well hopefully tomorrow I can get down to the bay with my son. Still haven't been there this year yet. Anybody have any info on how the ducks have been flyin' there the past week or so? Hoping to get some wigeon. It's tough for us living down here in Victoria, the only time we can see whats goin' on is when we are hunting there.

Went out on Friday here on the farm, not far from the Bay and we got a dozen mallards. Today another dozen, saw 1 wigeon. Saw lots of wigeon last time we were at Cow Bay, but there were flyin' high and no where near where we were set up. Got our limit of pintails and one teal that day.

yep life sux for Victoria...all us up islanders should post a constantly updated hunting conditions BLOG for the Victoria people. because god knows they would do it for us.
