I haven't hunted there, but got back 2 weeks ago from working out there for a week. Saw a couple muley does, but no bucks. Talking to the locals, they said they hadn't seen very many mule deer in the area all summer. Apparently they have seen a number of whitetails, but not many mule deer.

There is a lot of good moose country up there, but it is all LEH in region 5.

I've hunted goat near Twist Lake. That's just S.W. of Tatla and beyond Sapeye, Bluff and Middle Lake. Boy is that ever beautiful country. The road down to there is private and has gates which are kept locked and only (that I know of) the locals had access to the lock combinations. Fabulous area for horse pack hunting. Jealously guarded by locals. I was privileged once.
