Went out this AM with full intensions of walking my whitetail patch but it was pouring rain, so thought after reading the thread about road hunting I'd try that till the rain slowed down.

Thanks for some great tips.

I think he was using his house as a blind and shot him throught the front window. He was probably standing in the front yard and after the shot ran 20 feet and ended up on the driveway:p:lol:.

Seriously though great buck and congrat's.

WHACK .......(in season of course)

Last fall we seen 4 blacktail bucks a couple times a week for weeks on end,but in a dense area of population .... GRRRRR

Nice buck EK ,sometimes road hunting does pay off ,congrats on getting this fine WT deer.

PS can you tell us how fast you where traveling when you spotted him ,LOL :roll:.
