Very nice! Looks like the same field you got your moose in last year.

That's a very nice looking spot for a blind. I get the feeling that it'll be just a matter of time before a nice deer pays that field a fatal visit.

The birches in the background look picturesque. Nice sight to behold during the long sits.

Still I'm sure it feels good just seeing them? I'd rather be good than lucky, looks to me like you've got the first part licked, now you need to get lucky with the LEH. Nice pictures.

the pics could be better if a) it wasn't after sundown and b) I had more than 3x zoom

I resized the pics today, helped a bit.

sure was great to see the bull though. was sitting in the blind for about a half hour when a cow came out at the far end of the field 350 yards from me. about 10 minutes later another cow (the one pictured) came running out of the bush to my left about 125 yards out. one minute later the bull steps out grunting. he walked out half way to the other cow then turned and headed back to the one he followed out, then headed for the treeline, I lost sight of him for a few minutes but he reapppeared and fed to within 75 yards of me. in the meantime, a cow and calf had come out behind me and fed 150 yards away.

no deer but all in all a good hunt!

It's interesting to see moose walking in and amongst hay bales when you tend to see most pics of them in a more "traditional setting"......but thanks for sharing the pics and good luck out there!!

Really nice pics. Wouldn't take much to be feeding on some fine steaks and roasts would it?

Looking forward to more pics and a great story when you bag that biggun. Gotta love digital cameras.

Dan.

Is that an Alfalfa field and are those moose actually eating the Alfalfa.
