Hello everyone, here's my 08 mulie buck. My goal for the season was to get my biggest buck to date (only shot a couple mulies before that) and I was successful! Got him yesterday morning. About a 200 yard shot uphill. He was with about 5 other bucks. Perhaps when I get more time I'll give a more indepth story.

Congrats. Nice buck !

He was with 5 others ? I thought forsure the mulies would be starting to rut and not want to be around other bucks. How big were the other bucks ?

Good job tippin' that one over. What method were you using when you stumbled across this guy? Spot and stalk? Cruising' timber? Watching a block?

This was probably the best hunt I've had! Deer were everywhere...actually too many deer! Whenever I would see some bucks, trying to sneek in I would spook out does. The does were deffintly more on edge than the bucks were. I saw over 60 deer that morning, 15 of them bucks, and at least 8 were four points.

I've probably turned down close to 60 bucks this fall, and when this guy stepped out I only looked at him for about 2 sec and I realized he was the one I've been looking for. My guess and a friend of mine estimated he weighed about 275lbs. And yes we got him in a burn outside of Kamloops, but not Greenstone.

The rut is on, get out there!

Went up to Jamison creek this weekend from sun up to sun down and all I saw was HUNTERS!! busy weekend I guess there all getting desperate like me to get something in the freezer before end of oct. Oh well at least it's not over we will have to find a four point in november. Was a little pissed that I found a few skins around and one was a doe that had been poached, I don't care how desperate someone is there is never a need for that crap!! Congratulations to those of you that got your bucks and Imatures and thanks for sending pics it's always great to see, it anoyes my wife because after I get off of this site I usualy grab my rifle and head out the door! LOL . Bulldog

Congrats on the buck. It looks like he has some pretty decent body size on him. Gotta love running into a batchelor group.

Now all the burns are going to be crawling with hunters this weekend! :)
