Well what a first skunk week so far, been out hitting the bush here hard for ELK, seen about 100 in a hear , but they where only 5x5 or smaller buills in the bunch that was there not takeable, needing 6x or vetter on one side , i managed to call in 3 5x5 and a few 4x5 4x4 bull elk so far, but no luck on a 6x yet,
Had a oportunity to take out a really nice Pure Black Wolf the other day but passed it up didnt wanna spook the elk :smile: Seen a lot of Bucks around mostly White tails though, 4x3 2x2 spikers, but i am looking for the big one this year nothing smaller than a 4x4
Ran in to a few moose but all big bulls, so i have no LEH this year so i have to settle with a spiker or a calf when they open on the 10th of oct.here in Mcbride
