I'm heading out for the proverbial "two hour cruise" through the local timber. Wish I could do a 'hunt'.....maybe next year. It's just good to get out into the bush and lurk.

Got my region 3 meat buck in the freezer. heading to the puddle too for the big heart stoppers. 2nd week in Nov for 10 days. Good luck for all. G

Hey I am also from Sooke and will be working/hunting in area 3 from Nov. 7-15. Staying at Tunkwa resort. Looking for a wall hanger as i just got back from my moose hunt and have all the meat I need plus a mulie out of area 5. Driving a 2008 black/tan F350, stop by for a beverage if you are in that area. Got a 4 day weekend starting tomorrow after nightshift tonight. My son and I are heading up to 3-26 for a 4 pointer or two as soon as he gets off school.....

Yup I'm heading North of the Loops for a 5 day solo hunt, leaving Nov.3. Its supposed to be warm and wet. Great! Camping in the back of the 1994 white Ford. I suppose the situation will seperate the men from the boys. Conditions won't be ideal but when all you have is lemons make Lemonade they say!!!
Any noticable action happening up 3-40/41 way??
