Moose rut?

General question here. When does the rut end? And does it vary according to region? Interested to hear your responses...

varies alittle area to area but generally starts around mid sept, peaks late sept, ends first week oct, then the second rut starts mid to late oct for any cows that didn't get bred and they go into estrus again, alot quiter second rut, but you can still call bulls out.

Yep, ran into an estrus cow on saturday. She was so hot, I walked right up within 10 yards of her. Hoping for another spike/fork for my dad, but no luck!

Going to try and fill our second LEH tag tomorrow so hopefully we'll be able to call a bull out. Didnt have much trouble first week of October.

Moose rut will start going about the second week of sept and carry on till about the third week of Oct.
